She saw a segment on the local news about a new disorder that’s actually being treated by professionals and individuals are actually being labeled sick. The disorder is Sad Book.
……. Depressed because of Facebook.People severally depressed because their life isn’t as great as everyone else on the planet – or at least everyone on Facebook.
These experts treating and labelling this disease need a slap in the head. First you don’t need Facebook to live and it is VERY easy to deactivate your account and never go on again. There disorder cured.Second why aren’t they telling these people to grab a brain and use what common sense God has given them? Out of all the people that use Facebook to post statuses and pictures there are two main types – those that use it to vent and post every negative thing going on and those that use it to share their memories and good times.
News flash – those that use it for negativity aren’t always having bad things happen this is just the times they run to Facebook. Like my journal in grade school – reading it you would think all I ever did was fight with my mom. Honestly every page is full of how angry I am and how much I hate the mother I was given. Of course the book is 30 pages long, my writing is childlike huge and it spans 6 years….And……
Those that use it to share memories and good times are not always having good times. Think about it you have a friend that went on a vacation and posted umpteen pictures of the kids, smiling, swimming, hugging, cuddling with the dog, fishing, jumping, and frolicking in fields of clover. Then there is the pictures of friend and hubby, heads tilted together, big smiles and maybe even a kiss on the cheek.Does this mean there was never a moment the kids were less than happy or bored or fighting with each other? Do you think the happy couple pictures means that a moment of frustration or maybe even a good old fashion argument didn’t occur??
Good chance they did – just people don’t snap pictures of those moments and throw them on Facebook.…….
Does this world really need another disorder? Let’s spend less time labeling and creating disorders and more time using our common sense!!!!!
