I’m doing well.
A bit sad Christmas is over… it’s like a good book you can’t stop reading it and it flies by with insane speed, but then when the end comes you are so sad to see it finish.
Our Christmas went very well. I know it was hard on the girls. They hadn’t celebrated Christmas with their mom in years, but there is still something about Christmas that brings up loss. They seemed to fair okay. Lots of prayers for their wounds to be healed…..
There was plenty of food, piles of laughter and oodles of good company.
I so hope your holiday season was just as blessed…..
I’m off work now till the second, we have a New Years get together planned, other than that it is pretty low key from here on out. I have some blogging ideas and should be able to get to them no problem if I don’t get too distracted visiting…..
Prayers and Hugs for the girls. I know even when you aren't used to seeing them, there's something about Christmas that makes you melancholy. It's been 14 years this year since the boys dad has bothered to send them so much as a card or bothered to call. And yet, every year, I wonder if he'll make the effort...
